Suspension of Driving Lessons

An announcement by the Prime Minister at 8:30pm this evening stipulated that everyone should stay at home and only leave home for shopping (for essential food and medicines), one form of daily exercise, a medical need or to travel to and from work (where it is absolutely necessary). Given this, from tomorrow (24th March), I will only be providing driving lessons for key workers (as these people are still able to take driving tests) at least for the next three weeks (when the UK Government is expected to review these restrictions). Key workers are defined as working in the following critical sectors:-

  • health and social care
  • education and childcare
  • key public services
  • local and national government
  • food and other necessary goods
  • public safety and national security
  • transport
  • utilities, communication and financial services

These are unprecedented and challenging times for all of us and a new experience of being isolated at home. Take care of yourself and your loved ones (especially any older or more vulnerable people you live with) and do find ways to look after your mental health over the coming weeks and months.
